Odyssey Weightlift

Odyssey Weightlifting (USAW Club #36052), located in the Silverdale CrossFit facility, offers an Olympic-style weightlifting program using the Snatch and Clean & Jerk. Our program is taught by certified USAW Club Coach Jacob Hazard, who ensures proper technique and form in order to maximize results at each visit. Odyssey Weightlifting's programs are open to beginning and experienced lifters. We also have a youth weightlifting program for those younger athletes that want to get stronger and faster and more explosive for school sports, or those who wish to compete in the Sport of Olympic Weightlifting
Olympic Weightlifting is one of the single best training protocols available for developing explosive power, flexibility, coordination and strength in athletics. Well-coached Olympic Weightlifting is statistically one of the safest sports practiced in the world.
As well as teaching the fundamentals of the Olympic lifts, Jacob will build a program around your needs, adjusting as necessary to help you tackle technique issues and adjust to factors specific to you. You can be confident that you are in the safe hands of an experienced coach, and that volume, intensity and exercise selection can be modified to ensure optimal progress for every lifter.
